WEEKLY OBJECTIVES: 1) STUDENTS WILL DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PARTS OF A CELL. 2) STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP ANALOGIES TO EXPLAIN FUNCTIONS OF ORGANELLES - RELATING CELL CONCEPTS TO EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES.
Monday - Begin work on cell project with cell coloring and identification of organelle function. Cell project is a group project.
Tuesday - Relate cell organelle functiion to the parts of a city
Wednesday - Choose an organelle and develop a poster for presentation and display relating that organelle to a city function and explaining in detail both how the organelle works and how it relates to the city function.
Thursday - Review for Chapter 7 and 8.1 test.
