WEEKLY OBJECTIVES: STUDENTS WILL DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE OF THE ROLE OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS IS THE FLOW OF ENERGY ON EARTH AND WILL ALSO UNDERSTAND THE CYCLING OF CARBON DIOXIDE AND OXYGEN THROUGH LIVING ORGANISMS.
Monday - Complete Plant Pigments Lab that was begun of Friday.
Review Photosynthesis and ATP for test on Tuesday. Test was postponed from Friday to give students more time on a tough subject.
Tuesday - Short test on 9.1 and 9.2, ATP and Photosynthesis, followed by vocabulary 9.3, Cellular respiration and Fermentation.
Wednesday - Lecture on Cellular Respiration, emphasis on how it is the opposite of photosynthesis. Reading guide 9.3
Thursday - Complete section 9.3 with short lecture on anaerobic respiration and fermentation. Comparison of photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
Friday - Complete Chapter 9 with short test on Cellular Respiration and Fermentation. After test vocabulary 8.2 and 8.3, mitosis and cancer.
